How much "poof" comes standard with a Dolly Couture gown?
Dolly's gowns come standard with the amount of petticoat shown on August, our blonde Dolly Couture model.  Additional fullness, as shown on Cynthia, our favorite redhead, can be included for a nominal fee.
 
I see there is a pretty ribbon trim on the pettiocats in some photos...does this come standard?
The ribbon trim, unforntunately does not come standard.   It can be added on request, there is a fee for customization.  If you are already ordering a custom colored petticoat, ribbon trim may or may not be included depending on inventory.  Some brides like to add colored trim to their neutral colored petticoat...a beautiful touch of color!

I'm in love with a Dolly Couture gown, but I've decided I want a traditional long gown after all.

Yes, each garment is custom created just for you.  Not only may you select a custom length Dolly and her expert craftsmen can create any vision you might have for your important day.  

Does Dolly Couture do one of a kind creations?
Yes!

Can I mail order my Dolly Couture Gown?  If I do, how can I know it will fit?
Sure.  You may correspond with Dolly to  post a contract for your gown using the "buy it now" feature on ebay.  

Transactions must be completed using Paypal, assuring a safe transaction for both parties.  

Dolly ships anywhere in the world!  Simply provide your accurate measurements and your gown could just be a perfect fit!  

Without fittings we can not guarantee you will not need minor alterations.   Your local craftsman should have no trouble making any minor adjustments.

We suggest every bride make an appointment with a tailor in the two weeks preceeding her wedding.  This exciting time can cause weight fluctuation among many brides. 

How do I know what size to order?
Sizes vary among different designers, you must have your measurements taken, or do them yourself!  You will need a tape measure.  If you don't have one, you might want to pick one up.  (You may soon wonder how you got by without one!)

Measure around the FULLEST part of your bust, and the SMALLEST part of your waist.  You may find your waistline is a little higher than you expect...just below where you can feel your ribs.  Please do NOT attempt a neck-to-waist or waist-to-length measurment on your own.  If you'd like your gown further customized please have a knowlegable friend or professional get these for you.

Do NOT submit what you think might be your future measurements.  When in doubt, round up!  It is always better, to take a dress in than to let it out.

Do Dolly's sizes run large or small?
Dolly's gowns run true-to-size.  That said, the gowns are fitted to accentuate your figure. Without doing fittings we can not guarantee a perfect fit.  If there is any doubt, it is always safer to go up rather than down a size...Particularly with the "Edmonton" gown which has a slightly less forgiving side zip.

 I'm apprehensive about ordering a gown I have not tried on.  Do you have a return policy?
Unlike most bridal lines, Dolly Couture DOES take returns on non-custom orders.  If your dress does not suit you and it was ordered in a standard Dolly Couture size, you may return it at your expense.  You will be reimbursed through Paypal.  There is a 25% restocking fee (to cover labor and listing fees) which will be deducted. 

Dolly Couture gets very few returns.  The 1950's style cut flatters most women.

Sorry, there are no returns on custom orders.  

If you find any element of your dress to be undesireable, Dolly will send you any materials you may need for alteration, usually at no charge.  

In the unlikely event your custom gown is  faulty in any way, Dolly will  reimburse you any fees charged by your local tailor.  If you take your measurements as described, you should not have any trouble with your adorable gown!

Please scroll to the botom of the "collection" page to see all the options you have for ordering your gown.  If you have e-mailed Dolly  before, please be sure to include all information about your gown in one e-mail.  Dolly will write you back with a link to a personalized ebay listing, usually within 24 hours.  Please read over your listing carefully to be sure all the details are listed for your perfect gown!  If you feel the listing is incomplete, simply contact Dolly before purchasing, as she will be happy to add or subtract details.

Does Dolly Couture create dresses for the flower girl?
Absolutely!  And bridesmaids too!

How much will a custom Dolly Couture gown cost?
Even custom gowns often cost under $500.  

Our ready-to-wear line is MASTERFULY crafted in Vietnam, from gorgeous textiles and impeccable workmanship.  Our custom orders are a success every time and you can not beat our prices!  

If you are local to Los Angeles and would like your gown hand crafted and fitted, Dolly's Couture gowns will be available next fall and start at $1000. 

How long will it take for my Dolly Couture gown to be custom built?
Most gowns will ship in eight to ten weeks.  
Rush orders are available for a fee.  The fee will depend on inventory and how soon you need your gown.  Usually between $50 and $100...if not free.

Dolly can usually turn out your gown in as little as three weeks.  Let her know your event date, and she'll do all she can to have you ready on your big day!

What is the best way to get in touch with Dolly?

Sorry, Dolly Couture will not accept any overseas payment without using Paypal, and will never accept overpayment, or any amount of remittance beyond that which is due.  Queries of this nature will be reported to America on Line.
